Auntie Cassie’s Ranch- A lovely Morning

Okay we are going to try something different I am going to write this as I remember it and Laura has help of my Journals.

I woke up the next morning and Laura was gone. I woke up and noticed there was some small spots of blood on the bed sheets. She had gotten up to shower because it was a first time we had made love. And Laura was still a virgin.

Now, some people say “took your virginity, lost your virginity to so so and so. I always went under the feeling if you are a virgin and make love to someone you love, you are giving them your virginity and if you are giving each other your virginity. Something that is a special a gift , being able to love someone or each other a gift you can never take back. That is special. No matter what age. Especially for her. Because she might hurt afterwards and she went through that pain because she loved you. It’s not a notch in your belt or something to be bragged about. It’s the truest act of love. Auntie Cassie once told me there is a difference between having sex and making love. That morning I truly understood what she meant.

Back to my side of the story as I remember it.

I woke up and got out of bed and began to wonder if she woke up thinking it was a mistake. I was putting my underwear on and Laura came into the room and told me she had taken a shower because there was some blood on her thighs and it felt kind of gross. Laura walked up to me and kissed me. This kiss, there was more passion and not lust.

“Sorry I left but I did need a shower after last night.” Laura said. “Laura,..are you okay? I mean…” “Yes, I am more than okay. I am just a little sore. But, it was worth it. Ricky, I always loved you. But after last night, you were gentle with me trying not to hurt me. I knew you truly love me.” “Laura, I do truly love you, I don’t want you to ever second guess that. I said. We held each other in a loving embrace neither of us wanted to break. We stood there just holding each other not saying a word. Not because we didn’t know what to say but, because we knew felt the same way..

“Ricky, Laura..Get your butts outta bed breakfast is ready. I didn’t cook this to let it get cold and collect flies” It was Scott he made breakfast with the culinary skills he learned in France. “Come on Laura, let’s go eat before he pops a blood vessel in his forehead.” Laura giggled and we let go of each other. I finished dressing and Laura held out her hand. We walked into the kitchen took our usual seats. Amy and Tammy were looking at us with a grin and looked at each other. Scott stood by us with our plates and placed them in front of us. Laura and I looked at each other like “What the hell is this?” I forget what Scott told us it was but I do remember eating slowly, enjoying every bite. It was delicious “So Ricky I take your silence to mean you like it.” I just nodded with a mouthful of food and gave him the thumbs up.

After breakfast was done Laura and I did dishes. We were looking for the pots and pans Scott used “Clean as you go Ricky, one of the keys to a clean kitchen.” Scott said. We had dishes done, silverware wash and in the dish rack. Holding hands we went into the family room sat on the couch next to each other. Laura resting her head on my shoulder. I was strumming my guitar and Amy and Tammy were still grinning at us. “What ? What? Tell me why you two keep smiling at us like cats who swallowed the canary.” “We are grinning because Laura told us. She also told us how gentle you were with her. The way she described it sounded beautiful. I wish when I lost my virginity it was that special.” Tammy said. “Yeah news flash I did have a boyfriend before I discovered I am a lesbian and came out of the closet.”

I looked at Amy and said “Don’t worry, no unexpected family members and the box is open..by the way. Thank you for that Amy.” Auntie Cassie was sitting in her recliner ” I had a feeling there would be that possibility yesterday when you and Laura saw each other. I am your mother, Laura and your Auntie, Ricky. Besides I went into your room to change your blankets, seen the open box. So there is no denying that” Auntie said. “Auntie, I wouldn’t lie to you. I would have told you if you asked.” “I know Ricky, I know. I am sure you two will make love more, just remember..” “No unexpected family members” I finished her sentence. Auntie put her finger to the side of her nose as she always did to indicate “You know it , We understand each other.” With out actually saying it.” Ricky you truly have grown into the man I always knew you would be.” “Auntie I owe it all to you for your guidance all these years, Sharon and Amy for treating me like I am someone, And Scott, he always told me I could do anything.”

To Be Continued..I gotta get to work.
